AP World History Atlas
A temporal world atlas for states, cities, wars, population regions, migrations, religions, trade routes, universities and cultural centers from antiquity to the present.
Atlas reading ruleRead this as a period-composed world-history plate: boundaries are contextual political geography, routes are corridors, points are source records, and the timeline decides whether a feature is newly appearing, active in the period, or accumulated from earlier history.

Timeline mode uses a period window around each benchmark year. New in period shows foundations/events from that era; Active in period shows long-duration layers crossing the period; accumulated mode shows everything up to the selected benchmark.
Focused layers: historical borders, modern borders, and settlement records are opened as separate inspection views for a clearer atlas reading.
