Academic provenance
Every mapped record needs a source trail.
This registry is the scholarly backbone of the atlas: source identity, institutional origin, citation, access date, reliability level, and record-level provenance.
Files
Registry files
These files are generated from all current atlas datasets and will become the common citation/provenance layer for Armenian, Greek, and Assyrian/Seyfo records.
No academic map point should be considered final without a provenance row.
Add page numbers, direct archival quotes, reviewer status, and source hierarchy.
Source registry
Canonical list of sources used by the atlas, with institution and reliability level.
Record provenance
Machine-extracted link table connecting records to sources and dataset paths.
Review Console
Coverage, missing coordinates, weak confidence, and review queues for the full collection.
Source expansion registry
Roadmap for acquiring new archive, testimony, document, cultural-loss, map, and bibliography layers.
Completion matrix
Source and methodology closure page defining what counts as Genocide Atlas v1, what remains seed data, and which cultural/economic/testimony layers are contextual rather than direct event evidence.
Armenian church losses acquisition layer
Control page for the Data Catalog Armenia / Arak29 source before real cultural-loss rows are imported into the atlas.
Evidence archives acquisition lab
USC VHA and Guerguerian Archive schemas for testimony, document, actor, place, and citation layers.
Guerguerian actor graph
Generated network connecting documents to named people, institutions, places, document types, and archive divisions.
Guerguerian place review
Quality-control layer for distinguishing exact coordinates from contextual and regional map anchors.
Subsoil and industrial losses
Arak29/Data Catalog Armenia source list converted into a reviewable GIS layer with source URL, image URL, reserve notes, and coordinate confidence.
Demography and deportation backbone
AGMI-linked seed layer with 8 demographic loss records, 5 route cores, 9 expanded baselines, and 24 source-comparison rows.
Armenian deportation graph topology
AGMI-linked graph layer with 10 nodes and 16 directed segments for origins, transit corridors, camps, killing nodes, and terminal desert nodes.
Route evidence matrix
19 source-link rows: 8 direct AGMI chronology anchors and 11 Guerguerian/legal archive extraction targets.
Camp system seed layer
10 camp/transit/killing-node records, including 4 regional proxy records that need exact toponym and site-level verification.
Cultural memory acquisition
Houshamadyan now has a 588-page sitemap index, 67 locality/admin clusters, and 67 cautious mappable memory points; RAA now has a 221-page English sitemap index and 16 monument/evidence records.
Houshamadyan harvest summary
Reproducible source-harvest summary for the settlement and social-memory layer, with map-readiness counts and no republication of source article text.
RAA harvest summary
Metadata-only RAA/Data Catalog harvest for cultural heritage: sitemap index, catalog resources, first mappable seed records, and promoted evidence pages.
RAA map promotion audit
Audit file showing which place-linked, high-score RAA review candidates were promoted into the live map layer and which threshold was applied.
RAA extraction review queue
Working console for turning RAA heritage pages into reviewed monument records linked to the atlas place authority.
